• When you've signed up for an account, please do the following.
  
• Change your display name to your character's name, middle name included. For example: claire elizabeth bennet. Only staff have their names in uppercase.
  
• Get yourself an avatar and signature. Signatures should be no larger than 500 x 300 px. Avatars must be 100 x 100 px, and your signature and avatar must be of a celebrity. You can claim your celebrity face at the celebrity claims thread.
  
• Read all the information specified before applying for your character; rules, plot, any sub-plots, and all the threads in the "READ BEFORE APPLYING" board.
  
• When applying, please read the form carefully for the amount required for each section.
  
• After being accepted or declined, you need to claim what's rightfully yours - a celebrity face and theme tune. Go to the claims board to do this.
  
• After you have done all of the previous, you are officially ready to roleplay!
  
  • roleplaying •
  
• When roleplaying, a two paragraph post is expected, a paragraph being seven to eight lines. Honestly, if some-one posted a four paragraph post and then you responded with a diddly six lined post, I'm sure the poster would be very annoyed. It's called respect, people.
  
• If you are starting a thread, three to four paragraphs are expected, again a paragraph is seven to eight lines. You can make your posts longer by adding in detail about your character's senses, what they can hear, see, smell, etc.
  
• In all places except for OOC areas, a two paragraph post is compulsory. I will be sending out warnings to those who don't comply.
  
• Sex, drugs, and alcohol are allowed on this forum, however, if any of these are going to be involved in your thread then please write somewhere in the topic [M], just so some of your younger members don't feel uncomfortable.
  
• Prejudice, bullying, and bitching is allowed in character, but usage of any of those in the Out Of Character areas are prohibited.
  
• No god-modding is allowed on the forum, and by god-modding I mean, do not play other people's characters for them! No invincible characters either, often known as Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus. If you don't know what these terms mean, then you're not ready to roleplay here, sorry.
  
• Relationships are allowed of course, it makes life more interesting. However, make them for a reason people, don't just go up to a character and say, "Hey, wanna go out?"
  
• On that note, if you would like to have a relationship, have sex, or do anything else with another character, you must okay it with them first. No peer pressure!
  
  • ooc •
  
• Out of character bashing is prohibited and could result in deletion.
  
• If you need to say something that's OOC in a IC thread, them please put it in OOC tags, eg: [ooc - message here]
  
• In IC threads, if you want to post OOC then there must be some IC thread in your post as well, otherwise your post will be treated as spam and deleted.
  
• No advertising in the wrong places. The only place to advertise is the website URL tag on your profile and the advertising and affiliation boards. No links in signatures, or anywhere else.
  
• You are not allowed to post ANYWHERE, except the OOC boards if your character has not been accepted. Don't waste your time claiming faces and theme tunes if your character hasn't been accepted, it is a waste of time on your part because they will simply be ignored.
  
• When discussing matters in the OOC areas, don't get too het up if someone doesn't agree with your opinions. People have a right to disagree, and you have a right to argue back, but if you're at each-other's throats because you prefer Jacob over Edward or something along those lines, you know you're going a little too far.

• When using the C-Box, please write your name like so: your OOC name in lowercase and in tags, because we want to know the real you! An example of this would [cat]
  
• No spam. At all. As in, don't post a link in the C-Box saying, join this site, and then post it multiple times. Seriously.
  
• No aggravating people on purpose to start fights. I am adament about this rule, as there is a large line between discussing and deliberate fighting.
  
• I can [and will] block IPs if these rules are broken.

it's amazing what one can do when they highlight under this sentence.
at the bottom of your application form, it says "YOU'RE THE QUEEN OF THE SUPERFICIAL..."
